IMS Global Learning Consortium has a new name: 1EdTech Consortium
IMS Global Learning Consortium, a collaborative, non-profit marketplace for K-12 schools and educational technology and digital learning marketplace, has changed its name to 1EdTech Consortium and launched a new website with new blog entries and a renewed emphasis on a collaborative technology ecosystem.
The change aims to reflect “a united collaboration to enable an open, innovative and trusted technology ecosystem through K-12, higher education and corporate learning, which increases the potential of each learner,” according to a news release.
The 1EdTech community consists of more than 740 member organizations, including K-12 school districts, state departments of education, higher education institutions, government-led initiatives, and edtech providers, represented by more than 7,000 contributors. individuals in 28 countries.
