American College of Education President Shawntel Landry leaving after ‘transformational,’ 13-year span as leader at online university

She will stay up September 30 to help the Board of Trustees take first place and assist in an orderly transition to ACE, widely recognized for offering high quality and affordable doctorates, masters and degrees, along with micro-credentials and degree certificate programs.

Landry, an advocate of student-priority approaches to scalable operations and programming, joined ACE in 2009 as senior vice president. Becoming president in 2013, she led the university by developing a new mission, vision, and strategic plan. This included adding new health, nursing and business disciplines.
Under his leadership, ACE’s student population has grown by more than 100%, with more than 7,500 current students and a network of more than 31,000 alumni in 50 states and 84 countries.
