Apple taps Harry Styles to promote AirPods and Spatial Audio in its new ad
Apple today released a new ad for their AirPods and Spatial Audio headphones with Harry Styles also getting some promotion for their new album.
The new ad, called “AirPods with Space Audio + Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” promotes Harry Styles’ new album, Harry’s House, while mimicking the famous iTunes and iPod ads of yesteryear. Except where before there was a white EarPods cable, now we have white AirPods.
Apple is also taking the opportunity to highlight the virtues of space audio in YouTube video information as well.
The magical listening experience of AirPods with space audio comes with Harry Styles’ new album “Harry’s House”. With dynamic head tracking, to hear sound everywhere, you’ll hear Harry Styles like never before (Spatial Audio works with compatible devices and compatible content).
Space audio with Dolby Atmos is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV and even works with Apple’s HomePod mini. However, you’re likely to get the best experience when using a pair of AirPods max or AirPods pro connected to something like an iPhone. Apple explains the details of Spatial Audio in a supporting document posted on its website.
Harry Styles is everywhere on Apple Music right now and has already aired a live concert on the platform. Now it’s also helping Apple advertise its headphones.
