Diablo Immortal tips and tricks for beginners
Diablo Immortal is now available on mobile devices, taking the hellish world of Sanctuary, as well as its many inhabitants, monstrous, evil and colluding, to completely new platforms. Part of making Diablo Immortal an accessible game is how the systems are simpler than the previous titles, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need any help. The game is meant to appeal to everyone, from those who have played since the first game, to anyone who (somehow) first heard the word “Diablo” today.
Now, if you’re completely new to the Diablo franchise, don’t worry, we’re here to lend you a hand so you can kill monsters and grab loot. Here is a list of Diablo Immortal tips and tricks designed to help both beginners and veterans.
Choose a class, but feel free to experiment
Source: Blizzard Entertainment
Diablo Immortal has six different classes: the barbarian, the crusader, the demon hunter, the monk, the necromancer, and the magician. The first time you start this iOS game, you will be asked to choose one of the six. We recommend starting with the Barbarian, the Crusader, or the Wizard if you’ve never played a Diablo game, but feel free to try one. Many of the complicated systems of previous games have been simplified here, so you don’t have to worry quite both about minimizing your construction right outside the door.
It is important to note that Diablo Immortal offers each player five character spaces. This means you can have up to five different characters active at once. While this is not the case quite enough to have a character from each class, players have plenty of room to experiment and try different things if they don’t like their first (or second selection) at all.
Play with different skills
Regardless of the class you choose in Diablo Immortal, each character has a number of skills they can use. These skills can be combined in different (and sometimes unexpected) ways. Just as an example, if you are playing as a Wizard class, use the Arcane wind The ability of currently burning enemies (due to the fact that you or another player attacks them) will cause you to light a firestorm and deal more damage. Alternatively, using the Disintegrate lightning attack on the Ice crystal will cause the beam to split, firing in several directions.
By navigating to the Skills section of the Options menu, you can not only reassign these abilities to choose which attacks you have equipped, but you can also read each skill, which can give you an idea of how the different skills interact with each other. Play, you never know what you’ll find out!
Time the use of the health potion and take Health Orbs
Unlike Diablo 2, where the danger was hidden even in lower difficulty and the potions had to be bought or hoarded, Diablo Immortal uses a system somewhat similar to that of Diablo 3. You have three health potions, which they are in a cooling timer. After using one potion to restore some health, you briefly lose the ability to use another health potion. Then there is a second reuse time as the potion slowly recharges. As such, choosing when to heal or not is critical to success in larger fights.
From time to time, you will see red spheres of health on the ground, usually dropped to kill enemies or do a certain amount of damage to a head. You should prioritize collecting them instead of using your health potion, as there is no reuse time associated with collecting health orbs.
Delete anything and everything you don’t currently use
Since Diablo Immortal is about getting loot, you’ll quickly fill up your inventory. Since you have to change to the one that best suits your current build, what do you do with all the other equipment you take? More than 99% of the time, you should get rid of it! The scrapping team offers you a variety of resources that can be used to update an article. These upgrades require large amounts of resources, so it’s vital that you’re also discarding large amounts of equipment. You can remove the gear by selecting Services to any blacksmith.
Don’t neglect secondary activities
While it’s easy to get lost playing along the main road and traversing history, take a moment and do side activities from time to time. Explore off the beaten path to find additional treasure chests and gold. Face the challenging Rifts for tough fights that award unique rewards. Finally, the rewards are updated daily, giving you a myriad of side missions to tackle and gain some extra experience points for your characters.
Make sure you get daily rewards
Diablo Immortal has a lot of microtransactions, but even if you don’t intend to spend a dime, you can get some neat extras just by making sure you play regularly. There are several daily rewards to claim, including some things you get to kill your first monster of the day, as well as a free resource pack. It may not seem like much, but do it regularly and it will increase over time. You can also claim a free Crest a day. Shields are a requirement if you want to take on more and more Rifts, so it’s quite important to claim your daily crest.
As a free game, Diablo Immortal will grow over time, with more areas, events, loot, and possibly classes to try. There’s a lot of content here, more than Diablo 3 had at launch, so keep playing and having fun. Remember that Diablo Immortal supports drivers, so if the touch controls don’t work for you, you can always plug in a mobile driver and start playing this way.
Try it at no cost
