DXC Technology to Lead Digital Transformation and IT Modernization for DIRECTV
ASHBURN, Va., June 2, 2022 / PRNewswire / – DXC technology (NYSE: DXC), a global technology service provider for Fortune 500, has been awarded a multi-year contract to improve and modernize mission-critical computer systems for DIRECTV, the leading video entertainment provider in the United States. DXC will provide IT outsourcing services to improve program management and modernize DIRECTV’s infrastructure, delivering new and innovative entertainment experiences to its customers.
The agreement is part of the great expansion of a relationship with the customer that has lasted more than 25 years. The comprehensive and integrated technology effort will support back-office operations, improve automation and security, remove legacy systems, and reduce costs. The resulting improvements will support the reliability of DIRECTV’s customer billing and management systems and the consolidation of data centers with planned migration to the cloud.
