Explore developer labs at WWDC21 – Discover
During the week of the conference, Apple’s engineers, designers, and specialists are happy to meet with you, talk, and help you answer your questions about the latest advances in Apple platforms.
Regardless of your level of experience, you can get the most out of a lab appointment, and we’ve put together information to help you get ready and get ready to sign up.
Get to know the WWDC21 labs
This year, we run online labs on all major technologies and frameworks, as well as design reviews, query the app store, and offer open hours with technical support for developers.
You can browse all available labs after Keynote on the WWDC tab of the Developer app, request the labs you choose directly from the app or online at developer.apple.com, and keep track of your custom lab program directly from the app. .
Request a lab
You can submit an appointment request for a lab if you are a current member of the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program, or a winner of the WWDC21 Swift Student Challenge.
To do so, you’ll first need to sign in to the Developer app with the Apple ID associated with your subscription to the Apple Developer Program. Once you’ve done that, all you have to do is choose the labs you want to attend from the main schedule or a specific pavilion, enter information about what you want to chat and click send. If you submitted a report related to Feedback Assistant, please include the comment identifier in the submission.
When can I sign up?
For tech labs, App Store inquiries, and opening hours, we accept appointment requests that begin after the June 7 Keynote until 6:00 p.m. PDT the day before the lab. You can request as many labs as you want.
For design labs, the application process is similar, although these labs are limited to one appointment request per day and one confirmed appointment for the duration of the conference. Canceling a confirmed appointment will not allow you to request another appointment at the design lab.
You will receive an email informing you if you received an appointment before 12:00 PDT. If you do not receive an appointment, you can submit an application another day.
We review all applications from the lab to make sure you’re connected to the best person, and once processed, you’ll receive a notification of the application and an email with the status of your application. Labs have limited capacity, so even if you don’t get an appointment, you can still connect with Apple experts by posting your question on Apple’s developer forums, or connecting with engineers in selected subject areas at Apple. digital rooms.

Get ready for your lab
We welcome all skill levels in labs and encourage specific questions about your current projects, as well as broader questions about frameworks, APIs, best practices, or design. Whatever your question or topic of conversation, it can be incredibly helpful to spend some time preparing for your appointment.
Maybe watch the latest videos from the session on the topic that interests you and make some notes on what you want to talk about. And make sure you have any code, design frameworks, or other items you want to share before your appointment.
