TORONTO, May 30, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Firan Technology Group Corporation (TSX: FTG) announced today that the IPC Validation Services Program has been reclassified to IPC-1791, List of Qualified Manufacturers of IPC-1791. Trusted Electronics Manufacturer (QML) requirements at FTG Circuits Fredericksburg, VA.

FTG is a global corporation that provides design, development, prototyping, and manufacturing solutions for aerospace and defense electronic products and subsystems.

Following initial IPC audits, the FTG Fredericksburg facility approved the strict requirements of the Type 2 manufacturer, helping to optimize product quality, reliability, and consistency in all manufacturing operations, earning in the global CPI network of rigorously verified trusted sources. The requirements for requalification and QML listing in IPC-1791 include the quality and product system, the supply chain risk management system (SCRM), the security system that includes compliance with NIST SP 800- 171, export control laws (ITAR and EAR) and a chain of custody. system review (ChoC).

FTG Circuits is a manufacturer of high-tech, high-reliability printed circuit boards, standard rigid products, high-density interconnect (HDI), RF circuits, thermal management, rigid bending and assembly. FTG produces boards using traditional PCB manufacturing processes and a licensed Averatek A-SAP sem semi-additive process.
