Haarlem Baseball Week Selects Sportradar’s Synergy Sports As Official Technology Partner

Haarlem Baseball Week, also known as “Honkbalweek Haarlem” (HWH), the organizers of the world’s largest biannual international baseball tournament, and Synergy Sports, a division of Sportradar, today announced a multi-year agreement to offer exclusively Products and Synergy Sports technology services for teams and players participating in the one-week competition.

The new association will start with the 2022 edition of the invitation tournament to be held from 8 to 15 July at the Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, the Netherlands, and will cover the next four editions of the event, until 2030 .

During each HWH tournament, Synergy Sports will record video content and collect and produce statistics using its industry-leading camera systems to provide advanced video search services for all games played. In addition, participating teams will have access to video database tools during the tournament to prepare for the game and to access key data and analysis related to player and team performance.

This year, HWH will celebrate the 30thth anniversary edition of the tournament and has already announced a solid field of national teams participating from countries such as the Netherlands, the United States, Italy, Japan, Curaçao and Cuba.
