Keyfactor Introduces a New Community to Fuel Innovation in Cybersecurity

At Keyfactor, we imagine a world where the Internet is a reliable and secure place to access and share information. For this to be a reality, computer security, which is a key component of our digital society, must be accessible to all.

Today, I am excited to share that we are taking a step closer to achieving this goal Keyfactor Community Launch – a secure space for users to collaborate and share their experience in public key infrastructure (PKI)digital signature and cryptographic tools. Our new community will give developers, operations, and engineering teams access to our open source tools and the knowledge they need to implement the best security solutions for their use or product case.

Secure software development is critical to the success of almost every enterprise that uses applications and software to run its business effectively, and open source software significantly reduces the barrier to the development of new research and technology. Today, application and operations teams are increasingly dependent on PKI and machine identities to create, deliver, and run applications securely.

That’s why we offer users of the Keyfactor community free community editions of our leading products: SignServer, EJBCA, and Bouncy Castle. We also offer free 30-day trials of our enterprise editions in the Azure and AWS cloud.

The new Keyfactor community allows users to work closely with industry peers and provides educational resources and access to world-class knowledge through a secure environment. Developer teams have a great deal of responsibility in making security-related decisions. Our intent with this new community is to help alleviate this burden by accessing our entire software stack using open source software, and we are just getting started.
