Lifan Technology says H1 2022 NEV sales rocket 11,626.17% YoY

Shanghai (Gasgoo) – Chinese car manufacturer Lifan Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. (“Lifan Technology”) announced Wednesday that it sold 4,936 vehicles in June 2022, 3,126 units of which were new energy vehicles (“NEVs”).

In the same month, the carmaker saw its production volume soar by 7,801.67% year-on-year to 4,741 units, which included 1,473 NEV (+ 2,355% year-on-year).

Compared to the previous month, Lifan Technology car production and sales in June increased by 55.38% and 29.23% respectively.

During the first half of 2022, the carmaker saw its accumulated production volume increase by 5,815.82% year-on-year to 10,471 units, while car sales to date also increased by 15,398 , 23% to 17,513 units.

In particular, the company from January to June. NEV production and sales increased 2,018.79% and 11,626.17% compared to the same period last year to 3,496 units and 12,547 units, respectively.

For clarity, the NEV sales reported by the company consisted of the sales volumes of the vehicles produced and sold by Lifan Technology, Zhejiang Geely Automobile Company Limited and Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

In 2022, Lifan Technology plans to deploy two new high-scalability modular car platforms, promote applications of battery exchange technology standards in pilot cities, and drive the development of energy-related battery technologies, intelligent driving Intelligent, intelligent cabin and energy flow simulation. , and heat pump, the automaker said in its 2021 annual financial results.

As for the launch of new products, the company plans to launch models such as the 60S, X3 Pro, 80X and NS11 this year.
