National Cybersecurity Agency trains 25,000 employees in a year
The National Cybersecurity Agency announced that it has trained more than 25,000 employees of various entities in the country in a series of programs related to training and foundational training specialized in the field of information security during the period since March 2021 so far.
In a statement on the sidelines of the 14th International Exhibition for National Security and Civil Defense (Milipol Qatar 2022) which concluded on Thursday, the agency’s director of public relations and communications, Mohamed Ahmed Al Ansari, said that the The agency has worked with more than 70 government, security and non-government agencies since its inception, and seeks to achieve more cooperation with various authorities in the country, in order to intensify efforts to protect and develop cyberspace in Qatar.
He noted that the agency’s participation in the Milipol exhibition is part of its constant desire to inform the various authorities in the country about the services it provides, as well as the various training courses it constantly offers, such as protection. of private persons. data and information security.
Al Ansari spoke about the importance of improving information security and the importance of protecting personal data on social media, and noted that the agency is working to achieve various goals represented in the security and development of cyberspace in the country.
He stressed that the agency, which was set up in March 2021, wanted to work with major international companies such as Microsoft, Huawei and the German Institute, in order to improve cybersecurity and increase the efficiency of its system in Qatar. through various programs and projects. , and to ensure a reliable information environment.
