Pestle now shares recipes with the whole family so everyone can cook up a storm
Pestle, a popular recipe manager for iPhone and iPad, has a new update that is designed to help families share how to cook their favorite foods.
Pestle has long been one of the best apps for iPad and iPhone to keep track of your recipes, but sharing them with family isn’t always that easy. Now, with the new Homes feature, everything changes. Pestle users can invite their family to join their home with all the recipes available to everyone. People who didn’t create them can’t delete recipes, but everyone can see the recipes that are being shared.
A new way to share recipes and meal plans with friends and family. Creating a home is easy, open Pestle, go to Settings> Homes> Create a home. Inviting other people to your home is also easy with helpful invitation links. Share your invitation link with whoever you want, and they will have instant access to your cookbook and you will have access to theirs!
Developer Will Bishop says adding this particular feature was a “mammoth venture,” but it’s an important addition and one that will make it easier for everyone to cook their favorite food, regardless of who’s recipe.
Other additions to this latest version 1.2 update include the ability to edit recipes when importing from a website and more. The app itself is now faster than ever, especially for those who have a great cookbook full of recipes.
Those who already have Pestle installed will find the new update ready and waiting in the App Store. Everyone else can go download it again right now. Pestle is a free download with in-app purchases that unlock some features.
