At the end of the Alola season, Pokémon Go is hosting a major event. What is the Alola to Alola event on Pokémon Go?

The Alola to Alola event is the final event of the Alola Season. Return players to each of the four Alola Islands and offer a chance to catch and fight all sorts of Alola Pokémon. The event also includes the latest special quest line of the season that allows players to choose from one of four islands to earn incredible rewards and a special Oricorio hat for their avatar.

When is the Alola to Alola event on Pokémon Go?

The Alola to Alola event will run from Wednesday, May 25, to Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Pokémon with the potential to be brilliant are indicated with an asterisk.

Wild Pokémon

During the Alola to Alola event, the following Pokémon can be found more often in the wild:

  • Alolan Ratatta *
  • Alolan Meowth *
  • Alola Exeggutor *
  • Cubon *
  • Rowlet
  • Litten
  • Popplio
  • Pikipek
  • Yungoos *

Eggs

The following Pokémon can hatch from 7KM eggs collected from gifts during the event:

  • Alolan Ratatta *
  • Alolan Sandshrew *
  • Alolan Vulpix *
  • Alolan Diglett *

  • Dewpider
  • Fomantis

Players can fight the following Pokémon raids during the Alola to Alola event:

Collection challenge

The Alola to Alola event also includes the following pick-up challenge:

  • Evolves Yungoos into Gumshoos
  • Evolve the trumpet pickup
  • Rowlet evolves into Dartrix
  • Litten evolves in Torracat
  • Popplio evolves into Brionne
  • Trumbeak evolves into Toucannon
  • Catch a Cube

Completion Rewards: Encounter with Rockruff *, 15 Ultra Balls and 15,000 XP

Special search: Alola to Alola

The Alola to Alola event features a special branched line of research with four possibilities to choose from. Players who have completed the four exclusive special lines of investigation of the event during the Alola season will automatically unlock this special line of investigation; however, players can purchase it in the PokéShop. Players who have unlocked the special quest can also purchase additional tickets to earn more rewards.

Melemele Island Road

The Melemele Island Path focuses on friendship and includes social tasks such as sending gifts and taking snapshots. Players who complete this path will win an encounter with Alolan Raichu *, two Poffins, a bait module, four lucky eggs and a Pom-Pom-style Oricorio hat.

Akala Island Road

The Akala Island Road is all about adventure and has tasks such as spinning PokéStops and covering a lot of distance. Players who complete this path will win an encounter with Alolan Marowak *, an incense, two incubators, a super incubator and a Pa’u-style Oricorio hat.

  • Spin ten PokéStops or gyms for 15 Ultra Balls
  • Complete three field research tasks for a star piece
  • Take five wild Pokémon snapshots for three Golden Razz Berries
  • Hatch three eggs for a Super Incubator

Finishing rewards: meeting with Alolan Marowak *, two incubators, P’au-style Oricorio hat

Ula’ula Island Road

Ula’ula Island Road will allow players to grab a lot of Pokémon and make certain types of throws. If you complete this path, you will get an encounter with Alolan Vulpix *, a glacial bait module, a magnetic bait module, four incense and a Baile style dance hat.

Pony Island Road

Last but not least, Poni Island Path is for those who like to struggle with tasks to complete Coach Battles and beat the GO Rocket team. Players who complete this path will win an encounter with Alolan Exeggutor *, a rocket radar, three star pieces, a premium battle pass, and a Sensu-style Oricorio hat.

Field research

Coaches can spin PokéStops and Gyms to collect the following event-exclusive field research tasks:

  • Send three gifts to friends for five PokéBalls
  • Send three gifts to friends with stickers for three Pinap Berries
  • Use seven Bays to catch Pokémon during seven Ultra Dances
  • Turn on Pokémon seven times for a meeting with Litten
