STX Next acquires Ermlab to enhance AI and machine learning capabilities – PCR

STX Next has acquired Ermlab, a specialist in AI and machine learning software development. The agreement will enhance STX Next’s existing AI and ML capabilities, expand the company’s experience in natural language processing (NLP), and further strengthen its status as a software development powerhouse.

The acquisition of Ermlab is the first in the history of STX Next and its first “acquisition”, with CEO Maciej Dziergwa citing the experience of the Ermlab leadership team as integral factors in the decision. Former Ermlab Software CEO Krzysztof Sopyla will be the Head of Data Engineering and Machine Learning, while former CTO Przemysław Górecki will be the Head of Services at the new office in Olsztyn, Poland. . This will become the eighth STX Next office.

Maciej Dziergwa, CEO of STX Next, said: “Ermlab is a company we have been paying close attention to for the last two years; The team has built a set of capabilities that we consider very valuable to STX Next, driven by the inspiring leadership of Krzysztof and Przemysław. The acquisition will be instrumental in helping us grow, which includes plans to open a new office in Rzeszów and expand our operations to a new continent, Mexico. We aim to continue to strengthen our broad portfolio of services so that we can grow from our current 500 employees to over 2,000 in the coming years.
