A Tampa gym claims to have a new technology that can condense a full body workout in just 20 minutes.

Mireille Fernandez loves to exercise and recently decided to try a new fitness routine called EMS or muscle electrostimulation.

“After that session, I can see it in my physique and I feel more energy,” Fernandez said.

Recently, Tummo Studios at Tampa Powerhouse Gym began offering the technology. He claims to be able to condense training hours into just 20 minutes.

“The way this suit is designed is a closed circuit of electricity that activates more than 92% of the body’s skeletal muscle and then works against that resistance up to 10 times the results,” said Tummo Studios owner Joe Palano .

There is a tingling sensation on the part of the user that can be raised or lowered.

“People are always worried the first time, it will hurt or feel like a Taser. It doesn’t matter. Most people crush their first session and say I’ll do more next time,” Palano said.

Palano says it’s perfect for all kinds of training, from athletes to weekend warriors who don’t have hours to spend in the gym. It also says it is easier for the joints, making it ideal for the elderly.

Fernandez plans to combine it with his normal training routine.

“I’m not wrong, I do both, but I feel like this gives me faster results in a shorter period of time,” Fernandez said.

So, whether you’re an old-school lifter or want to be on the cutting edge, EMS training may be for you. At the very least, you’ll have an idea of what Tony Stark feels like.
