A new Apple history calendar on Kickstarter is grabbing sponsors and seems like a must-buy for any Apple fan.

Stephen Hackett announced that the project is underway today and has received 175 sponsors and more from its commitment target on its first day. The calendar includes original photographs of Hackett and dates that highlight Apple ads over the years. From the list:

I love the history of technology – it shows us a lot about how the tools we love have evolved over the years.

I’ve been at Apple and its history for years, even more so than a podcaster or a blogger. I have a collection of almost 200 Macs, not to mention the iPods, iPhones, iPads, Newtons and other products that the company has released over the years.

From the early days before the Macintosh to the current era of iPhones and beyond, the history of Apple’s software is one of care and craftsmanship … and the occasional weird idea.

Buyers will also get digital copies of the photos used in the calendar and access to the dates to enter them into their own digital calendars, an interesting addition. Hackett says the calendars, which measure 20 inches by 13 inches, will begin shipping in the fall.

Hackett made a similar calendar last year for 2022, with highlights of the hardware, such as the launch of Apple’s best iPhones, iPads and Macs of the past. If necessary, this latest version will surely be another success.
