FALLS CHURCH, Va .– (BUSINESS THREAD) – Women in Technology (WIT), the leading organization contributing to the success of professional women in the tech community in the Washington, DC area, today announced its 2022-2023 Board of Directors.

Amber Hart, founder and co-owner of The Pulse of GovCon, leads the organization as this year’s president. Prior to taking on the presidential role, Amber Hart served as a board member of WIT and the Advisory Board of the Government Procurement Center (CGC) at George Mason University in the School of Business.

“Despite national conversations about gender diversity in technology, women are still underrepresented, underpaid and often discriminated against in the industry. These women have such significant impacts on their roles for their businesses, for the lives of women. others and for those who will follow them. We are thrilled to focus on their work and recognize their achievements, ”Hart said.
